Jester Can't Hold Target Designation in LANTIRN

I've noticed lately if I use eyeballs to tell Jester where to put the LANTIRN, he does it, but then releases it, then does it again, the releases it, over and over in an infinite loop.

See at around 11:40 (or right when you click the link).  Because of this it is impossible to make a laser guided drop.  Even if I go in the RIo seat and designate it myself, as soon as I go to the front seat he does it again.

Am I doing something wrong?

LANTIRN with Jester is totally bugged at the moment. I opened a thread about it in the bug section, many other players confirmed it. He is not searching for targets, not slewing the pod to waypoints but keeps on cycling through the laser code.

Afaik this is the old missions issue. Load in ME, reload the bombs and save.

I've just checked Training Day mission - it had the cycling second digit in laser code bug. I opened it in ME and checked player aircraft's bomb fuse settings, I've chosen to copy fuse settings to all the same weapon pylons, then saved the mission. On another run the laser code was fixed and Jester worked ok with designating.

In MP Jester seems to become pretty useless, Lantrin is useless as he can't keep it on target and He seems blind to all enemy aircraft, apart from informing you of spikes and mud spikes.

Shame, It's my favourite module, pls fix sirs.

So you are telling me the Tomcat is broken right now? That would be a shame. Wanted to fly the F14 since the F4 is broken regarding shrikes. Now F14 grounded as well?

No good times for DCS as it seems...

No, you just can’t use the extra lazy function AND there’s an evident work around.

Go practice your CCIP and CCRP with the TCS and manual bombing with the tables.  I bet they’re rusty as hell.

How does CCIP and CCRP help if Jester doesn't see other aircraft?

Quite a feat but already done in F-15E once.

Lantrin works fine when working, It's just the Ai functions of the F14 don't work rn in MP.
