Timm
Hi Guys, Don't know if this is me, but I notice that when in cockpit I cannot un-cage the SAI with mouse but have to use the key commands first to get this to work, once I have done that the mouse works fine over it. Is this correct or am I missing something? Timm “Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. It comes to us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. Guest
Yeah, I've never gotten it to work with the mouse -- I can only test it (I think?) by clicking it inwards. For now I just use Alt(Ctrl)+Shift A or D, I don't recall which one exactly. What really bugs me is that if you accidentally hold the key down when uncaging it spins to far and the correction method isn't exactly scientific.. bumfire
umm, i think you click on it with right mouse button and use the mouse wheel to turn it whilst the right mouse button is still depressed. or is it the left mouse button ? I cant recall off the top of my head, when ingame it just comes to me.
Brane Ded
Yeah, hold right click and turn with mouse wheel. When it's caged the knob won't move when you right click it, but it will turn when you scroll the mouse wheel.
Boulund
I think it's all an artifact of the well-known mouselook/mouseclick bug/feature. It works very well for me just scrolling the mouse over it after disabling the annoying bug. Panzertard
LALT-C once, twice, three times until you have the desired "mouselook behaviour" (I use TrackIR - no mouselook). The Mouse Wheel - to release it the SAI lock. Sometimes I have to hold the Right Mouse button - to neutralize the SAI. And then use Mouse Wheel again to align/calibrate it to my current attitude. Hm, I cant remember if you used the left mouse button for anything. Altough I seem to remember I used both mouse buttons at some stage - maybe that was for re-locking it again? Not sure. Yea, its annoying when it sticks at an angle, so instead of being straight and level if your in level flight, it shows you as banking however many degrees, it can be a real pain to then fix it whilst inflight.
