toby23 Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Dear DCS Community, I have a problem with Black Shark. It's hard to explain. I have several lines cutting through the screen in cockpit view. When sitting in the cockpit, I can move my head around and the lines move relative to my head position around the y axis. The lines don't affect anything inside the cockpit, ONLY outside. They have been there since I installed DCS last December, so it's not the gfx card (which has been changed) and it's not the Cpu (changed) and it's not the graphics drivers (also regularly updated). I would be very grateful if someone could help me to get rid of these lines... Thank you, Toby Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060
Kuky Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 If this is same as in LockOn, it'll be Graphics.cfg and set these 2 lines with these values: near_clip = 0.1; middle_clip = 2; PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR

toby23 Posted July 1, 2009 Author Posted July 1, 2009 Weird Mask over Clouds Hi Kuky or anyone else who can help, How can I get rid of the weird masking effect of clouds, sometimes seen at an angle from the cockpit? I don't have a screenshot of that but maybe someone knows what I mean? Sometimes the moon, for example, will be visible and when you move your head, it disappears behind a cloud polygon or what seems to be a sky polygon... as if the two textures are fighting in the z axis for priority... any help is much appreciated, thanks, toby Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060
