My red air forces which were previously in the mission  they disappear 

After I assign player mode to the f-18 

I've done some testing and that is the situation that comes up in probably causes many of the other problems that people are reporting 

 

Because I've noticed for instance if I  add red forces after I assign the f-18 to player 

A lot of  illogical things start to occur

Actually disappearing isn't the right word 

It's more about when I set up the mission and the f-18 is in player mode 

The red forces do not start in the mission they don't come up unless they're already airborne 

So they won't take off from the runway it won't take off from the ramp they don't show up 

I'll have to see if I can upload that file

My missions are typically very big and they do and I do not use static forces

And also since I have your attention 

 

I can't set a time and late activation 

It always reverts back to mission start

This has happened since the last update 

I've never had this problem before until now 

And also another nagging problem that I've been having

when I do an update

I'm finding that the AI aircraft will not land on the carrier after the update 

So I wind up having to redo the entire mission 

Which is very annoying

After today's update, I'm noticing as well that a massive chunk of my ~2000 units (of all types) are being culled after choosing a side during mission start. After painfully removing all of my scripts and every modded asset, I've finally got vanilla assets to begin loading in again.

Now I have the painstaking task of finding out exactly which of my many modded assets are causing the conflict. I'll update once I've identified it in case anyone else is running into this.

EDIT-

Looks like it is the usual list of modded aircraft that are the culprits. I've added/removed each one and they all will break the mission if present. I've removed everything in the mission file except for vanilla assets, and adding any of these mods you'll notice that the major cluster of ground units at FH08/FH09 are culled.
