As far as I can tell, this significant lag only appears in the northeast of Germany, all the way down to Berlin. South of Berlin I haven't seen this so far, and never in West Germany.

Sounds about right - I just wish the developers would make some sort of statement about it, acknowledging it and giving some sort of state of the effort to debug/fix it…

Is it coincidence that Western Germany outperforms the Eastern in relation to Cold War era ? Maybe it is not a bug but a feature, it is the symbol of realism

Me too. When looking SE from the new bases Kastrup and Sturup, my FPS drops from over 90 down to 27. Looking SW from Bornholm it drops to 60. Looking NE from Peenemunde it drops to 40. At Szczecin, looking SE is 120fps...but looking NW is 60pfs. At H GDR 30, looking E or NE is 27fps...looking W or S is 120fps. Obviously we can see area of the map where there is a huge problem. Ugra, please acknowledge this problem and fix it. You have given us new bases that we can't use or enjoy.

I can confirm that issue is still present on my rig after last update.

Also confirm. Issue still here, and maybe became more worse at northen sea - 15-20fps (before update iirc it be a 35-40fps).

Seems to be the worst at Bornholm.
