Psylopathe Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Hi everyone. I have comme back in DCS from a long iatus and i have a few question regarding the Mirage2000C. I was messing around with the ILS landing with sythetic runway. I have tried in the instant action/free flight of the M2K on the Caucasus map. It as a landing waypoint (n°2) on the Ninera'nye vody airfield. When i come for the runway 30 (289°) everything is fine i got the synthetic runway. But when i try to come from the other side of the runway, the 12 (109°) i got nothing. Yet i change my ILS from 109.30 to 111.70 and on the waypoint 2 i edit the CP/PD from 296.5 to 115.6 (109°+6.6° of magnetic declinaison) My approach is the same: 3000 ft at 300 knt from 10 nm on the axe of the runway. What did i miss? An other thing, my throttle seems glitchy when i move it gently. Only the Mirage have this problem, not the other modules i own or in other games. I have tried to mess up with the -Throttle cutoff detent and the -Throttle afterburner detent in the special menu of the M2K But wathever are the value, i got this problem. For info i have the warthog HOTAS Little video to show you this problem: I hope someone will be able to help me, thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language. Best regards.
Ironious Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Did you confirm no other axes are mapped to the throttle control?

TL;DR: In DCS, ATC will only enable ILS for the "active" runway, in this case RWY 30. Detail: Although you have correctly tuned your ILS to 111.70 and set CP/PD to 115°T - Mineralnye Vody is NOT transmitting an ILS signal for RWY 12 in this mission. As the M-2000C is not receiving an ILS signal - selecting APP mode will not display a synthetic extended runway centreline or runway silhouette. You can confirm if an ILS signal is being received by turning up the ILS volume on the audio panel and/or checking if the ADI's yellow ILS guide "bars" are visible. 1 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
XpRiV Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Morning, My throttle did that too. Turned out both left and right throttles were mapped to the same function causing this issue. When I removed one of the throttle binds, it worked fine. 1 ASUS TUF Gaming B760M PLUS WiFi - i7-14700KF - Zotac RTX 4080 Super - 64GB DDR5 - 4TB M.2 SSD - Thrustmaster Warthog - Samsung G5

In fact yes, both throttle were mapped on the "Thrust" shortcut Removing one fix the problem.
