Aapje Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Perhaps get a piece of wood and use a bit like this to make shallow holes in the bottom so the wood doesn't slide on the carpet as easily? https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006877486507.html And then fix the TPR to the wood. 1
_Hoss Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) I bolted mine onto two boxes (Walmart), which sit against the wall, so it doesn't move forward. It raised them a bit higher, making the ergonomics feel more natural. I have a flat board on top of the boxes, covered in slick plastic so my heels slide like they would sitting on the cockpit floor. That way, the instep of my feet is not sitting on the bottom bar, which hurts after a while, if I wear socks. Edited May 7 by _Hoss 2 Sempre Fortis

Hempstead Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I used to use a piece of marble designed for rolling croissants. Bolt the rudder pedals to the marble, as long as the marble is heavy enough it won’t move around. You can get it cheaper from HomeDepot and the likes. A piece of chopping board will do too. The good thing about wood is that you can easily add some “nails” facing downward to “grab” the carpet. 1
