Hi Guys,

Just one small question please regarding the up coming patch. As you will notice in the above quote there will be a lot of extra textures being added to BS in this patch. Question I would like to ask is : Will this patch have a custom install option in other words you can add what textures you want or will it chuck the whole lot in regardless? Timm

So: the Ka-50 will be flyable from all countries represented - that is, you can have it flyable as Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, USA, Belgium, Norway etcetera. (Possibly even Insurgents... Gods how I hope...) A quick look in the mission editor seems to suggest that all those new textures will be "flyable" with their "real" countries in the simulator.

 

To the OP: if that was optional, it would offer potential difficulties with multiplayer. If you are worried about space constraints on your hard drive - those textures are relatively small and should not pose a problem to the storage capacity as long as you have obeyed the 10% rule of hard drive management (always have 10% free for swapfiles and margins).
