Art-J Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Thanks. Mission is probably more or less allright'ish up till shutdown phase, if dresoccer says above he got there at least. I just don't know how precise I have to be with airspeed and altitude on downwind leg, because I'm obviously messing up something. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

The "Keep 125 Knots" message is just an info, there is no trigger that checks your speed or altitude. I assume you did not fly the correct downwind heading (290 degrees +/- 10 degrees). I replaced the degree based logic by a more user friendly zone now. 17 hours ago, dresoccer4 said: new Corsair pilot here. This tutorial campaign looks very interesting and I'm excited to try it out. However I'm wondering if it's been updated to include the changes necessary to keep the engine from seizing (oil flaps open) and the higher landing speeds (>100kts)? When following the built-in tutorial it ends in failure a lot of the time so I've been looking for an alternative with accurate instruction. ADDITIONAL: i'm on mission 2, taxi, takeoff, landing, and shutdown. I made it all the way to shutdown, however no matter what I do I can't get the CHT below 170 like is required. I've tried increasing RPM and decreasing RPM. All flaps are open. Nothing gets the temps down so I can't finish the mission. Anyone able to fix this? ADDITIONAL 2: how do you get the checklist to go away after summoning it from the F10 menu? Thanks for pointing out. Seemingly since the engine model update, the temperatures only know one way - up. I added the option to skip the cool down by pressing space bar. The F10 checklists disappear automatically after 30 seconds. Updated M01 and M02 are uploaded to the file library and pending approval. The complete campaign is already updated and online.C Edited 15 hours ago by Don Rudi 1 1 Modules/maps: all, except for the Dora My missions: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/user-is-Don rudi/apply/ Primary system: i7-13700k, RTX 4080, 64 GB, Win 11, Virpil WarBRD + Constellation Alpha with 5cm extension, Virpil CM2 throttle, Virpil Ace Interceptor pedals, Virpil Rotor TCS base + Blackhawk grip, Winwing Triple MFD and ICP, Virpil panel 3, WinWing PTO 2, 34" UWHQD screen Secondary system: Acer Nitro 5, i7-12700h, RTX 4060, 64 GB, Win 11, Virpil Rotor TCS base + Apache grip, Virpil Ace Torq pedals, WinWing Viper Ace EXII stick with extension, WinWing Strike Ace EXII throttle, WinWing PTO 2 panel, 34" UWHQD screen
Art-J Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Thanks for all improvements. I guess with various things about the airplane still being WIP, more tweaks will be needed every now and then. This campaign is a keeper, though! 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Annoying, as it contradicts the real procedure from the F4U flight manual. Now I just loaded M02 to see what is happening there thanks! 1 Acer Predator Triton 700 || i7-7700HQ || 512GB SSD || 32GB RAM || GTX1080 Max-Q || FFB II and Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle || All DCS Modules
