paulw10 Posted Tuesday at 08:09 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:09 PM (edited) For anyone who is interested ... Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Throttle axis tuning to act as a helo collective (i.e. reversed, pull-back to increase) | UH-1 | AH-64 | OH-58 | CH-47 | SA342 | UH-60L| ------------------------------------------------ Deadzone | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | 30 | Saturation X | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | Saturation Y | 75 | 70 | 100 | 90 | 87 | 80 | Curve | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Slider | x | x | x | x | x | x | Invert | x | x | x | x | x | x | User curve | | | | | | | ------------------------------------------------ Deadzone - used to remove the AB detent region from the throttle range. Saturation Y - the useful collective maximum demand. The thing that varies between helo's. Curve - linear. Anything else is not useful since collective demand is proportional to load/weight. Slider/invert - set both to enable the tuning method. nullThe attached screenshot shows the result (UH-1). The minimum collective demand is at the AB detent position (fully forward) and the maximum collective demand is at the idle position (fully to the rear). Hope this is helpful Edited 19 hours ago by paulw10 slight tweak for UH-1 to cover armed troup carrying
