gdotts Posted Thursday at 07:56 PM Posted Thursday at 07:56 PM What bind would work better for the nose wheel steering wheel? Warthog doesn't have a wheel. 1

shadowborn Posted Thursday at 09:29 PM Posted Thursday at 09:29 PM (edited) I am toying around with a modifier button on the stick so my pedals can act as, well, pedals in the air and tiller wheel on the ground. Tune down y-axis saturation a LOT and set 40 curvature or something. You won't be turning on a dime that way but it won't drive you crazy. Regardless, the nose wheel seems to have, well, idiosyncracies. Not sure yet if it's realism or not, but it ain't convinient yet. As I said in the "First impressions" thread, maybe a cheat NWS toggle in "special option" might be desirable because that wheel will be tough to map for many. SliderCDN Posted Thursday at 10:49 PM Posted Thursday at 10:49 PM Needs to have a virtual NWS button that connects the tiller to rudder axis like F4 or F86 do. 3
QuiGon Posted yesterday at 08:30 AM Posted yesterday at 08:30 AM (edited) I bound it to the grey slider on the WH throttle base. Works awesome as it also has a center detent. paulw10 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'm using the CMS switch on the F-16 stick, and the weapons selector on the F-18 stick. It would be nice to use the pedals though.
