DoubleP99 Posted Thursday at 09:19 PM Posted Thursday at 09:19 PM (edited) First: congratulations on the release, I really like the plane. I'd like to propose 2 ideas that I think could really change the user experience for the better: Option to enable nose wheel steering control with rudder axis. You could also add an option that disable or reduce NWS input above a certain speed, to avoid eccessive steering at high speed during takeoff Option to remove thrust reversers from axis: if this option is enabled, in order to enable the thrust reversers the user must press and hold a keybind: while the key is pressed, 0% throttle equals to 0% thrust reversers, 100% throttle = 100% thrust reversers. When the key is not pressed 100% throttle = 100% throttle, while 0% throttle = minimum ground idle power. This could be expecially useful for users that does not have a reverse range (probably the majority). If you want a pratical example of application of both of this options, you can find them in almost all of the civilian airliners in other flight simulators, and I think those will also improve the DCS C-130J experience. Badger1-1 Posted Thursday at 11:19 PM Posted Thursday at 11:19 PM You can remove the Reversers from the Axis by going CTRL+C and go to settings, disabling the threshold for Reverser to 0. Then you need to activate the Auto Reverser setting 1
H60MTI Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM That's a thing? I know what I'm doing in the morning...Definitely going to try that. I attempted my first landing and it did not go well, probably because of the throttle setup with reverse being in there as well... Former SSG US Army UH-60A/L/M Crewchief "2 To Fly!"

Jetguy06 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago +1 for better reverse thrust mapping. I would love to use the idle/off detents on my Thrustmaster Warthog for reverse thrust. It would make things alot easier. 2
