609_Relentov Posted Thursday at 10:11 PM Posted Thursday at 10:11 PM (edited) If memory serves, you have to push both rudder pedals (toe brakes) all the way, then release the parking brake. I was scratching my head for a while too until I happened to try this process above (I.e . If that doesn't work, check your brake axis assignments to make sure they don't need to be inverted. airplanesimulations.com

If all engines are in Low Speed Ground Idle, then the engine generators will not supply electric power to the aircraft and everything will go dark. They do work like every other module. Do you have any hardware brakes bound? 1 airplanesimulations.com

The Standby Generator run off the APU can also be run direct with Bleed Air selected off the engines, so you don't need the APU fired up to taxi with engines in ground idle, just turn the Aux gen to the engine bleed air position prior to pushing ground idle buttons, they won't push in anyway without an AC source running. The main engine generators will only provide AC power at or near 100% RPM's. At least that's the way it worked in all the models prior to the J's. The older models like the A had DC generators on all four engines but AC gens only on the inboards. They also had no disconnects, so were prone to burning. 2
