Any idea on how to adjust the TM Warthog so the ground idle is at the actual idle stop on the throttle and the prop pitch reversers are on the off position of the throttle? Trying to back throttle down and hit reverse is confusing..

I am also interested on this. I have found in controls the option to limite the throttle "range" to Flight or enable the ground range and the reverse. I am still trying to figure out a better solution to the set up that you propose. In the meantime search on the control binding options for Enable or disable Ground Range and at least you have "limit" to your throttle movement and prevents you to enter ground range or reverse in flight. But I hope we get a better solution.

+ 1 I guess an FAQ regarding throttle management is needed with various configuration explained. As an exemple, Fenix sim did a great job with their wiki for their A320 regarding this.

This could help with it. My simpit is disassembled ATM so can't test this personally

I have not been able to use this satisfactorily. I believe it is designed for a different throttle setup. As the OP mentioned for the TM Warthog Throttle or in my case of the WinWing Orion 2 Throttle it would be ideal to set up the ground range to END at the physical detent at the rear and that passing that detent, the Reverse started. I have a similar set-up with the Blackbird/milviz C-130J and it is much more intuitive to have to pass through a detent to engage reverse but with this "reverse" detent this is not recognized since on the mentioned Throttles after the detent there is no "axis range" but it is considered as a "button"

Hi,

I read on the Discord an advice : use the keybind to disable reverser, then in the kneeboard setting, put the detent at zero and enable auto reverser.

Have not tried it yet but worth a try

Also, see this post :

There is no keybind to disable reverse thrust

Yes, there is. See second post. Throttle range is then limite from Flt Idle to Max but even with that engaging Beta or Reverser is not straightforward.

None of that is working. I'm trying to play with it right now so that your normal idle setting on your throttles gives you that 17.5 for the PLA like it wants on the plane.

Loving the module so far, however, they really need to add an option to have the throttle range exclude reverse altogether and allow us to bind an MSFS style "decrease throttle" button that allows us to on first press enter the ground idle/Beta range and upon second click go full reverse (no axis input, just pure pushbutton/ the hat switches on most HOTAS style throttles are perfect for that function!).

I understand they added a disable and enable reverse key bind but it still requires you to use your throttle axis to get into reverse and this is just highly unintuitive and leads to a lot of confusion on the ground or in the flare (if you try to activate the range early and avoid accidentally going into it in order to have it instantly available at touchdown), a simply key bind for full reverse and possibly a second one for "toggle ground range/flight range" would probably solve everyone's issues and when paired with current option probably cover most hardware options!

It's not named reverse its ground range enable/disable, but in my experience it is very finicky to use and really counter-intuitive when you need it to work smoothly (at touchdown/initial rollout!), plus during taxi to remain in Low Speed Ground Idle you need to enable it to be in the ground range and that leads to a lot of accidental reverse applications as the ground range and reverse range are under the same option at the moment (Unless I am horribly miss using something).

@H60MTI It's called specifically called "Ground Range Enable" and "Ground Range Disable".

Ahhh...I found that and tried tying the ground range enable to when the throttle off switch is off, when the throttles aren't in the off state. There definitely needs to be a switched condidtion or something for reverse.

Fully agree, think just having a "throttle decrease" binding that upon one press sets you in the ground range and upon the second press sets you into reverse would make this a non-event with a possible similar "throttle increase" binding doing the same function but instead moving you up out of reverse into ground range and then again up into flight range on press two (basically up and down toggles for throttle ranges akin to an up down button for flap stages to sum it up simply). That should make it easier to have fine control over the throttles without having to think about it/muck about with your physical HOTAS throttle position to much.
