Pretty basic. And I'm sure the answer is easy to find. But I'm not by my PC.

I've tried to open the ramp. But nothing works. Not from the loadmaster or cockpit.

Ensure the aircraft is depressurized first.

And how do you do that?

And make sure the AUX pump is on as well. For some reason, the ramp doesn't tie into the main hydraulic system...

Pressurization panel above the copilot's seat, set the Mode switch to NO PRESS.

Hmm, interesting... I have had no issues opening the3 cargo ramp from the pilot seat by pressing and hold Ramp Switch – Open (toggle) while in the air.  You have to hold it about 10-15 seconds in order to open the ramp > 58% (required for air drop).  You can view progress via opening the Cargo menu via Cargo Menu Show/Hide and clicking CARGO/LOAD to get to the right page.  Of course this is from a hot start on a dynamic spawn, so I haven't gone through the manual startup yet, so there could have been some items that were taken care of automatically on the ground.

It's the very last backup system and has a hand pump on the circuit with it's own little reservoir, important to have brakes available under any circumstance even with engines and power off and cold parked.  Hand pump also runs the cargo doors so the Loady doesn't need to fire up power to load.
