Hi,

after finishing Mission 5 and pressing END MISSION button, DCS crashed. Now i have the status in my logbook for the played mission, but in DCS the campaign is shown as INACTIVE, but in the logbook as active.

Logbook attached. Please tell me what to add, to make it work again.

Campaign starts at line 305.

P.s. I really like the campaign so far, but the "Allied Forces" on the comm is very annoying. Every 5 sec you got enemy calls and when getting your 5 lines for example it gets always interrupted. Is this as intended to work? I really dont like it. Maybe i can set it to off?

Hello! No, no. AI reports are a bug I can't seem to fix. I'll update the campaign very soon.

Here's a link to fix it ASAP.

A mission shouldn't crash DCS, especially from the main menu.

During the campaign's release, there were crashes due to a failed AH-64 update. I'm not sure I can help with that.

The mission triggers are standard, and I don't use any weird scripts, modules, or anything that could disrupt DCS.

I would recommend removing all unofficial mods and running a DCS update, slow recovery, and file verification.

You can restart the campaign by clicking the restart button in the campaign menu. You can also skip five missions by clicking the button to the right of the mission name. This way, you can skip and open any mission in the campaign.

P.S. I double-checked the AI spam reports and remembered I fixed it in the November DCS update. Do you have the latest version of DCS?

I have always the latest version of DCS.
I have no MODs.
I already did a repair, but the campaign is still inactive. I dont see a possibility to skip the mission. And when i edit them in the logbook nothing changes. Did some editing to the other campaigns due to DCS re-installation and its working. But with the outpost campaign i have some strange behavier….

Yes, an inactive campaign looks strange.
This can only happen in two cases: if the player doesn't have Apache, or if they don't have a Syria map. Or, thirdly, if the game thinks the player doesn't have a particular module.
I'm trying to reinstall the campaign in my DCS to trigger a similar situation.
I need your log files from the folder C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs
.crash
.dmp
.log
dxdiag.txt
All of them, if any.

After reinstalling the campaign, I couldn't find your issue. The campaign is inactive, but you can skip it or start a mission.
pg1
The first mission starts.
pg2
I can skip all missions and complete the campaign.
pg3-4
Let's take a look at all your log files; maybe we'll see something there. The logfile.lua you sent earlier probably doesn't have any information on this.

I'm sorry this happened. My colleagues and I sometimes received feedback about campaign files not working correctly. But I couldn't fix this problem.
I can't figure out what's causing this bug. I'm waiting for your log files.

Here's what I found.
I restarted the campaign, loaded the first mission, and quit without receiving the required score (you need more than 50 percent of the mission's score to continue the campaign).
In this case, the campaign is immediately failed.

And you can only restart the first mission, just like in your last screenshot. The restart button is grayed out, but it works! And after the restart, you can skip all missions.
Glad you got it working! Enjoy the game!

From your log file, I only saw errors processing text and fonts in the DCS BIOS.

Unfortunately, I'm not an expert on these matters. You likely have additional hardware connected—an MFD, touchscreen, etc.—but I'm not sure that was the cause of the crash.

Just in case, update your software.
