Hi all, sorry if this has been asked.

I am trying to make profiles for my x52. since x52 has the easy profile switch feature, i am thinking of making 1 profile for each fighter. I am quite new to Lock On, actually, to flight sim gaming. and all those keyboard commands just confuse me.

I started with F15C. i think i got the basic, most commonly used keys now. it took me quite a while thou, so i wonder if there is an already sorted keyboard commands layout or mapping, like these keys r commonly used by all jets, these are only for US jets and those are only for Su 27 ... something like that.

I made searches on the forums but didnt get what i expected. i think i am not using the right key words ...

so plz help me on this ... thank a lot.:)

You're right about there being differences in key commands between aircraft.

Especially between fast-movers and mud-movers.

I haven't seen any keyboard maps customized for each aircraft yet, but I think it might happen now since there are quite a few changes in 1.1.

I think you're on the right track - multiple profiles, one for each aircraft. I've already been editing the keycommands.doc, making copies and customizing the new file to include just the commands I want with keyboard and JS mapping notes.

Try making your own custom keycommands.doc files and gradually experiment and add commands as you practice and master the more advanced topics.

okay ... that is gonna take long ...

the information is just overwhelming ... i had to watch a certain training 3 times ... and that doesnt include those before i figured out that i shouldnt have pressed "ctrl + Q" then clicked yes right after i saw the hints ... i thought the training was like "do what the texts tell to do" thing. i was even going to complain about how poor the training is ...

i assigned keys for helm-designator mode and drogue chute for F-15 before i found them doing nothing ... and still trying to figure out what mode 8 --- setka/grid mode is for ...
