pyro1588 Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Alrighty, I've been flying this bird for a couple of months now. I think it's time to get some feedback, especially on tactics. I've heard all manner of advice, but the general gist seems to be "hold back, stay slow and low, take pot shots." In general, it's keeping me alive more often than not. Here's a track of the first mission of oil war 1. Note: this is the first time I've saved a track and it has the peculiarity of ending early. Towards the end when I turned to go back home, the track seems to just stop recording control inputs and the chopper dives into the ground. When I flew the mission, I recovered the bird (albeit without a tail) and got her safely back to base. I'm not sure why I died in the recorded track but lived in the game. Comments? Anyway, here's the track. Please please please give me advice on my flying, shooting, and general combat strategy. And some/many mods produce broken tracks. Or you have made mod-changes during recording and watching. Or something else. The track-creation is not THAT stable as you may suppose.
