Allochtoon Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 I got a bit tired of working on the mig-21 and wanted to do something more lowpoly, so i worked the last 2 nights on this magnificent plane. My dad used to work at Fokker Space so i had a lot of Fokker posters in my childhood bedroom. I just used the following image to stick it on my model. http://fokker.avsim.net/images/livery-large-Demo-F100.jpg The site of the guys who did an fokker 100 addon for FS http://fokker.avsim.net/index.html Just to see how it would look on my model, i hope the guys dont mind. The model has ~23000 polygons. It looks already OK if u ask me: TODO: -Engines -Little parts -Tail needs work -Hatches for the wheels Anthony Fokker was one of the greatest airplane pioneers in the world. It is looking pretty promising for how long you've worked on it, But are you aware the nose is completely off? Looking at it again, I have no idea what I really meant back then :) Anyway, My point was that at that early stage, the nose was pretty off the accurate shape..Seem's like you're aware of that, and that it has improved, so no comments here. BTW, Do you have FS9? If so, it would be a GREAT deal of help and Reference to just download and view the fokker-100 from FS9 ingame. You would be able to get detailed and up close views of any part of the aircraft. The F-100 that they did is Very detailed, and is the most detailed F-100 available for Fs9...pretty much should be a fantastic template for you to follow off of.
