Ramstein
oops, I accidently put this in the BS forum, I moved it to FC forum.. ----------------- I sometimes am flying and am working my controls, and the commands on my stick, and boom, my canopy ejects. I am definetley not hitting the command to open/close the canopy. The closest command I have on my stick and on POV2 is 'C' for the cannon. I have checked to see if the LCTRL+C command is accidently hit somehow on my stick, and I don't see how, as I do not have that command on my stick, it is by keyboard only. very strange and a pain.. :joystick: any idea what is triggering this.. Grimes
I've got a normal X52 and I've never had that problem. I had my canopy binded to a pov hat at somepoint and after a few times of opening it in flight I changed it to one of the shift state toggle switches. So if it is binded to anything make it a shiftstate and someplace you don't actively use in flight. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Ramstein
I had a command 'LCtrl+V' on my POV2. It is possible it was triggering 'LCtrl+C' which opens the canopy. which ejects and blows the canopy off if you are flying at the time of it opening. So, I moved that command to another key on my joystick. Not sure why that would have done that, but maybe that was causing the problem.. I wil post back whenever I findout whether or not the problem is resolved.. :joystick: ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
Kuky
If you have some other buttom presses on HOTAS that uses the CTL key and you press something else it can trigger accidental keypress for something else.. had that happen to me also a few times :D No longer active in DCS...
