And here are my 2 cts about the admin reactions to the d/l problems

My 2 cents after reading the post by Sharkypal and how Mr. Dmut replied:

If you don't want to read any complaints don't put yourself in a position where others can complain with reason; if you are unable to give a proper answer to the complains better not to say nothing at all;

If you are unwilling, or unable, to give answers or feedback about a product developed by you in a forum created by you, dedicated to the product you develop then I really don't understand what is the purpose of putting a forum to start with.

I surely be surprised if this post isn't closed either, considering the policy being followed.

Hello Branco.

You mistakenly associate me with Eagles Dynamics. I'm, as most other Mods here, just a fleelancer Mod, who love to fly. So I feel ok when closing such threads - this saves EDs time :)

Second point: why don't you believe, when Mods telling you, that ED doing their best to orginize on-line distribution? ED want to continue on-line distribution more then ever of anyone, because they spend money on development and they want it back.

Those, who thinks that on-line commerce is simple, should try to do it by themself.

"There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: recklessness, which leads to destruction; cowardice, which leads to capture; a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble." I think that we should understand ED (I already did it some time ago) I am sure they are doing everything to bring up the game but also ED and you- Mods- should at least try to understand some* of us:

(*- not everyone can be understood)

WE JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT :)

ED are listening. They've provided us w/a registry tool that backs up our registry so we can reinstall FC w/out using another activation. Additionally they've upped the amount of times we can reinstall using the reg key from 5 to 15 times. They did this as a result of two of the biggest complaints regarding the copy protection system. I know you're frustrated Branco, just hang in there. ED has a great track record for listening to it's customers.

I'm not complaining about ED regarding the download problems. I do understand their difficulties, even if I also think the online commercial approach wasn't as well planned as it should. The delay in getting a proper solution for the download problems is the best example that shows something didn't went well and now they're facing adversities never expected.

I do understand very well ED doesn't want to be in this situation but the truth is that it indeed is.

Now what I have difficulties to understand is another thing: why to close a thread like that?

I don't see any reason to close the thread. I suppose an answer of this sort "We still don't have any reliable information about what will be the development about online purchases. We understand your impatience but we're doing our best efforts to come to a solution as fast as we can" will for sure have the same result but with much better effects. An answer is given even if there isn't still nothing solid to give but the image left is very different, don't you think?

The purpose of the forum is there fulfilled and, at the same time, the message transmitted show commitment and dedication to solve the issue as fast as its possible.

Only closing the thread doesn't serve any of those purposes and only gives strength to the initial post itself.
