RvEFuSiOn
Anyone know how to change the lighting at all in lockon FC2? I think if we tinker with this we would get some more realistic looking terrain and some better shadows! I'm hoping someone knows what some of those values do or how to edit them! Peace
Blaze
I'll start tinkering with it after lunch. I remember an old sun ambient light mod for FC1 i use so I'll pull that apart later and take a look at it. Good place to start. I'm with you in that I'm not sure what all the values do but messing with them will give you a basic idea. Luse
@ Blaze the Ambient light mod your talking about was tweaked RBG Values I believe, Not at home so I can not check. Do you know if the method of lighting has chnaged in DCS/2.0 ? STT Radar issue is leftover code.
shaggy
maybe you could tweak the HDR mod to make some better and more realistic light? Blaze
I try to avoid using the HDR mod since I don't see that much of a difference with the cost of some fps. In other words not worth it and if we can replicate the results in-game without that ENBseries thing it would be better IMHO. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement.
