zakobi
It sounds almost too good to really can all that stuff... You better test it through and through, and give a proper report :) Oh ya, almost forgot. Your title makes me say this: I lost the game...

jpm1
how should this work without any hardware? especially the motion capturing??? there's an hardware see Wiki (looks like a surveillance cam) . may be cool but may be frustrating too i mean virtuality and reality are two separate things trying to unify them may lead to a dead end ?? but if you built yourself a nice pit in a real plane cockpit for example can be a very cool experience i believe edit : in term of developpement i think it's going to evolve like the voice recognition slowly approximatively to finally end in a very sophisticated way , then we'll see if it's interesting in term of entertainement .. Sel94
how should this work without any hardware? especially the motion capturing??? Microsoft said they put a lot of stuff into this, I think it was two regular motion capturing cameras, an infared camera, and two microphones. It seemed to work well when they tested it live last year. Anyone see what they did with Milo and that thing where a person hit the balls to break bricks, and make a painting!? Can't wait to go. Grimes
Natal is a very very cool technology, yet it suffers the same fault of the Wii. Nobody wants to spend a long period of time waving their arms around while playing a game. The Wii suffered from this greatly, as many games divulged into "shaking a stick" to accomplish an action. Only a few games really took advantage of the controllers capability, but after a while the controls schemes become annoying. Suffice to say Natal is quite a bit more advanced than the Wii, and I believe its usage as a "Xbox360 Super Expensive Webcam" would probably be something useful to have in the entertainment center. Sel94
Yeah, hopefully developers create intresting games for Natal, not just sports and games having you flail your arms wildly. If you've seen what they did with you can see that they can do much greater things than the Wii or PS3.
Grimes
Milo is a perfect example of an amazing application that has little or no use as a "game" and is much better suited for therapeutic uses. Its just one of those things that has to be done "perfectly" in order for it to be fun and entertaining. Otherwise you will just have a bunch of games trying to take advantage of such a system but failing in the overall delivery. Bioware is the only company I'd expect to be truly successful with such technology. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Sel94
Agreed, hopefully we see a company or two devoted to making good quality games with Natal(ED Team;))?. I am excited to see what the community makes with Natal. With XNA(program provided by microsoft that lets poeple make games and sell them as DLC[for actual money!] from the 360) I am sure I will see interesting things a few months after Natal is released. HitchHikingFlatlander
I agree in part with Grimes but I'll take the wait and see approach (I don't own nor plan to own a 360 anyways). The Wii in games like Sports Resort is cool ie: Bowling, Swords, Ping Pong, Golf, etc..... but I have to agree that any game that requires frequent "waggling" gets old real quick. I more or less stick to family oriented type games like Sports Resort, Wii Fit, Mario Kart, etc.... since the motions involved in those games seems to come off well. Games like Red Steel, Force Unleashed for example got pretty old real quick. Obviously Natal seems much more promising as well as cooler, but I don't see myself getting one or a 360. Really looking forward to where it goes though! http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Panzertard
I suggest that in order to use it in for example FC2: - For firing an R27, you need to throw a Parker pen at someone in front of the screen. - With AIM-9 you can only throw when they have their bum turned towards you. - For AIM-120, you're allowed to use a broomstick. - Ejections must be performed by jumping up 2 times, opening a window and jumping out.
