Recommended Posts

Oh, this will please some no doubt (from release notes)

"Enabling hardware shaders (perfect mode) no longer causes text and on-screen menu corruption while loading missions in "IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946" game"

Anyways, took this driver for a test fly in FC2.0 not long ago, they seem fine, i was a bit concerned as i had that runtime error issue not long ago, but i'm happy to say that it's all good :)

Finally. I stopped playing IL-2 because of that. It was so annoying.

I just wish default VSync would start working without the use of D3D Overrider.

D3D causes an odd 1 second stutter on my ATI 5830. But without it I get some nasty screen tearing. It's a tradeoff for this goat.

Edit:

THE 10.5 drivers fixed D3D stuttering issue!!! I am SO freaking happy right now!!!

On average not just in FC2 but my other games as well I saw a 10-20 fps boost with 10.5 as well. ;)

10.5 worked fine for me in FC2. However in Battlefield 2: BC, I got crashes everytime I tried to play for more than 5-6 minutes. No error messages, just crash-to-desktop. The driver was the only thing I changed, and I did it properly, removing the old one, cleaning with dh driver cleaner, and a clean install of the official 10.5. Everything got fixed when I reverted back to Catalyst 10.4a...

I have ATI Radeon HD 3200 Integrated. Which should I get?

Get the one for the OS you are running, XP or Vista/Win7.
