astrospud Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 I am unsure if this question has already been fielded, but what is the feasibility of providing smoke laying/dispensing for ground units. It's been a question in my head for some time, and I suspect it's subject to PC computing power. I am no coder, but I believe that smoke/gas systems are rendered using a particle model. How difficult would it be to add the aspect of passive defence to ground units? Also, is reactive armour modelled at all? Far be it for me to say that killing tanks at range is easy, but just to add that element of realism would be huge, IMO... Cheers . Rectum non bustus
astrospud Posted July 6, 2010 Author Posted July 6, 2010 Wrong thread, maybe? No takers? I'm thinking it may be in the wrong thread, but I am unsure where this post would go... Rectum non bustus
