Any idea if this sim will support ATI Crossfire Multi-GPU? Sims are generally graphically very damanding and I run at 2560x1600 resolution. I have a tri-crossfire setup 5970 4GB + 5870 2GB that I would love DCS: A-10C to utilize.

GPU: RTX 4090 - 3,000 MHz core / 12,000 MHz VRAM.

CPU: 7950X3d - 5.2 GHz X3d, 5.8 GHz secondary / MB: ASUS Crosshair X670E Gene / RAM: G.Skill 48GB 6400 MHz

SSD: Intel Optane P5800X - 800GB

VR: Pimax Crystal

CONTROLS: VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Base / VPC Constellation ALPHA Prime Grip / VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle / TM Pendular Rudders

While that is a somewhat high resolution, I do not really agree that simulators are "generally graphically very demanding". I run DCS and FC2 with an old 9800 and do not suffer from it. Same with X-Plane, MSFSX etcetera. The common theme in sims is being CPU dependant.

That said, deeper information about hardware support and hardware requirements will most likely wait a while until the simulator is closer to completion.

I can only agree with what EtherealN said about GPU porwe needed for ED sims, I know that MSFS is a different beast but again FSX doesn't have to make computations for projectiles, missiles and artillery, ED's sims does that, and it requires quite a bit of CPU power to operate fluently.

Again it is to early to speculate, wait until release is closer. Then I think all will be revealed

FSX is a HOG, but pretty amazing at the same since its generating all those procedural buildings, real time lighting, shadows, clouds I dont think any DCS sim comes close to that amount of number crunching or expansive map area? I can still barely run FSX with all the details up but BS is no problem at all.

DCS Sims dont support crossfire.

Its supported by your Main Board & the ATI drivers.

All graphic oriented apps are supported but not all gain any benefit.

That's not true. The game has to support Crossfire. Sure your motherboard and drivers have to support it, but some games no matter what you do you cannot force the load balancing. An example would be Rise of Flight. It only uses 1 of my 3 gpu's. The other two just stay idle, wether you try and force it or not.
