metalnwood
One thing I hate about cockpits is having somewhere for a mouse, usually some small place that you end up dragging and lifting the mouse to the other side of the small surface 4 times to get from one side of the screen to another. Apple announced this and it looks ok for the job. I know someone made a smaller one but it wasn't available in NZ so I would have needed to ship it over etc.. This should be available down the road. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC380?mco=MTg1ODA3NDY

metalnwood
I did a bit of searching and found that it does support windows, at first it looked like mac only, then bootcamp only but now I have found it will work for windows. I know for my setup, no desk, just a pit it will be nice to not fumble around with a mouse and I never got used to the thumb wheel things. The laptop has got me used to a trackpad now. One thing I like about it for a pit is that it doesnt have a bezel around it so it should be easy to flush mount it in to something and look good. DTWD
Wait a few weeks and you will be able to get a clone like version with more functionality and at a tenth of the price. Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
gillers
Try the Bamboo Touch from Wacom. Looks very similar to be honest. USB connection too and Windows support. http://www.wacom.eu/index2.asp?pid=294〈=en&spid=3 Gillers A Hawg and a Viper. To go. Thank you.
metalnwood
I have seen the bamboo touch but the footprint is a bit too big to 'embed' in a pit. It's 9.8"x6.9" so takes up too much space for me.
