A: 8 activations and 10 deactivations. Note that just reinstalling the game does NOT use an activation! An activation or deactivation is only used when there is a significant hardware or OS change. Even if the user has exhausted all of their activations and deactivations, more are provided with proof of purchase. They just want to make sure you haven't given out your serial number or installed the game on someone else's computer or that your computer is triggering reactivations. If they determine that, they'll want to help you figure out why. IIRC someone from ED mentioned it costs the company money every time a new serial number is generated. But if it's just as simple as you activating, deactivating and running out of activations you'll find ED is very helpful, so don't worry. :) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
