MudRat02 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Hi all, Does anyone know where you can get an F/A-18 flight stick or HOTAS set similar to the Cougar Hotas replica of the F-16? All I seem to be able to find are military grade fighter sticks, at an exorbitant price! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

LawnDart Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Just not very affordable, considering it isn't P&P. ;) [sigpic]http://www.virtualthunderbirds.com/Signatures/sig_LD.jpg[/sigpic] Virtual Thunderbirds, LLC | Sponsored by Thrustmaster Corsair 750D Case | Corsair RM850i PSU | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X CODE | 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200 | Intel i7-8086K | Corsair Hydro H100i v2 Cooler | EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW | Oculus Rift | X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty | Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB NVMe | Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB | WD Caviar Black 2 x 1TB | TM HOTAS Warthog | TM Pendular Rudder | TM MFD Cougar Pack | 40" LG 1080p LED | Win10 |
Callsign.Vega Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I think the F-18 has the same stick type as the F-15. The only one that ever produced such a stick as far as I know is Suncom like over a decade ago. GPU: RTX 4090 - 3,000 MHz core / 12,000 MHz VRAM. CPU: 7950X3d - 5.2 GHz X3d, 5.8 GHz secondary / MB: ASUS Crosshair X670E Gene / RAM: G.Skill 48GB 6400 MHz SSD: Intel Optane P5800X - 800GB VR: Pimax Crystal CONTROLS: VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Base / VPC Constellation ALPHA Prime Grip / VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle / TM Pendular Rudders

Skopro_PL Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Mudrat if your looking into getting as close as possible to one your probably gonna have to mod one yourself.. the throttle from the sfs suncom is nice..the suncom f15e talon is basically the same stick the fa-18 has. The suncom sfs has a simmiler stick but only one POV hat whereas the f15e talon has 2.. best of both worlds would be to use the sfs throllte with suncom f15e talon stick and mod it using BU08836 with some hall sensors, its a bit of work but you'll have yourself a real nice stick.. other modders: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2904142/Suncom_SFS.html controller: http://www.leobodnar.com/products/BU0836/ | 8700k @4.9 | Gigabyte Gaming 7 | 32gb Tridentz @3000 | EVGA 1080 TI SC2 | CV1 | VKB MCG PRO [sigpic]https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FeLGqKyJ3K08k3z-7XaegWgRuGRGkKUs/view?usp=sharing[/sigpic]
