Hi

Just installed Windows XP and am using SP3. The only game I have installed is Lomac and I am patched up to 1.02. For some reason sometimes I am quitting a mission or even quitting Lomac completely my PC reboots. I am an old Lomac player from 2003 and never had a problem then. I can only assume it’s a problem with my current system or registry, although every other game I have played I have no problem with.

My current system is

AMD Athlonx62 4400+

Geforce 9800GT 512MB

ASUS M2N-E-SLI Motherboard (Using onboaRd sound so no soundcard)

4GB DDR2 Ram

I am using my old Saitek X45 though too and it’s been causing me problems like working sometimes and not others. I am wondering if perhaps that is causing the reboots? Maybe some sort of signal error.

Any help or advice appreciated.

Thanx

Normally if PC is rebooting like that it means unstable system... if you are not overclocking look that your CPU is not overheating or maybe have you added some new devices and PSU is not providing good voltage signal? Many things to try and test but try from there

Hi I had a similar problem in Vista 64 and I found the cause and the solution not saying that yours could be same but worth a try.

The problem was I was plugging in my X-52 Pro Throttle to the Computer without connecting the Stick and the Throttle first which would cause Bluescreen&Reboot as soon as I pressed any button on the stick or sometimes just randomly. So now I make sure I connect my Stick and Throttle first and then plug in the USB and it works perfectly.
