Welcome to LockOn Community Exercise Red Flag 2010. This thread is an information thread only; It will be designed to disseminate information to the community about this mission LOCERF 10-2. PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THE GENERAL INFORMATION THREAD UNLESS YOU ARE A MODERATOR.

LOCERF 10-3 will be flown over long distances. Keep this in mind when choosing aircraft

 

NOTE: This LOCERF will not be symmetrical and will not provide each aircraft on both sides. US and Russian aircraft will be split. I therefore ask all of you to choose as few aircraft types per squad as possible.

 

Aircraft available: Su-25T, Su-27S, MiG-29A, Ka-50 | F-15C, MiG-29G

 

LOCERF 10-3 DATES:

 

The next mission will commence at 2100 GMT on Saturday September 25th

 

If you are interested in participating in the next RedFlag please PM me, X-man, no later than September 4th at 2000 GMT

 

You must include in your post:

 

Number of Slots Requested

The type of aircraft you request

 

(for example: 51st requests 2 Su-25As, 4 Su-27s and 4 Ka-50s)

 

If you do not PM me (X-man) with this information then you will not be considered for the next mission.

Please PM with the same information. Unless you have already done so, you will be required to pass a checkride in order to participate in the mission.

The number of pilots that will participate in this mission will be limited to what is considered maximum for server stability.

 

IF YOU REQUEST A SLOT IN REDFLAG YOU MUST BE ABLE TO FILL IT!!!!!! In the past we have had teams who decided to leave or pull out of the mission at the last moment. Please be considerate of your team mates and realize that you are hurting your entire team by not showing up. This also includes briefings etc, make sure you represent your squad and yourself well and attend scheduled briefings and the mission.

Ive been thinking a little bit, and for the sake of the mission, Ill be defining what slots are available. They will be handed out on a first-come first-serve basis, but each squad can only request a maximum of 4 slots per aircraft type. (ex: 51st has 8 pilots and wants to fly the Su-27. They can only request 4 Su-27s and the rest will have to take MiG-29As)

 

I also ask you not to be afraid of requesting MiGs. They are needed as well! :)

They do not fit into this specific scenario. The same goes for MiG-29S.

How about everyone trust X-Man's ability/judgement to deliver a mission on par or even exceeding previous L.O.C.E.R.F. reiterations and leave the debriefing and attendant negativity if justified/relevant till AFTER the event........;)

LOCERF's not for heroes and zeros its a community event with the intention of getting the community working and communicating together, winning is a bonus not a bragging right.

Hope you can come up with anti-F-15 tactics instead. You already have a pretty huge numerical superiority, it isn't at if you're in dire straits.

Good thing LOCERF is at a better time for my time zone :) This on will be really interesting, because the real 2IAE , armed with MiG-29 had a visit by an F-15 squad this year :pilotfly:

Some worries about lower numbers, others of the missiles... Seems both sides are in the same situation then ;)

 

This is not HAWX, things might be a little unequal, unbalanced and most certainly very, very interesting. ;)
