Unfortunately the nose wheel strut is wrong from the beginning (beta)

The calmed - weight on (front) wheel - strut is too long. :(

Paulrkiii ?

The picture you selected is not with full weight on the front strut - it's in acceleration.

Comparison from the same batch of pictures - on the left if the one you quoted, on the right is a plane that is cold/dark.

You are correct...the strut is over serviced in the simulator. You wouldn't tow the jet with the nose strut that high let along launch an ACFT.

Same thing, even with full weight on the nose strut in that picture it is to high.

Proper extension....

Perhaps the sim doesn't model the pilot's weight?:music_whistling:

As Paulrkiii wrote: Perhaps the sim doesn't model proper extension :(

Max compressed strut IRL

Perhaps no pressure in strut

Now we have a very under serviced strut...basically you should see 5 inches of chrome (give or take a couple depending on ACFT weight)

This is going to be the fully compressed strut which knocks up to the cockpit (under seat) @ hard landing :D
