Hello all

Just trying to figure out how to bomb using the basic CCIP mode.

When i create a bomb release profile and use the RIP SGL or RIP PRS options i can't seem to increase the ripple quantity (OSB 8).

Has this been implemented yet or more likley what am i doing wrong ?.

I've just created a simple mission in the mission editor with a cluster of targets for bomb practice, i was wondering how do you place a smoke marker to aid locating them.

Thanks........

Press the same button again to get Ripple up on the MFCD, then enter the desired amount in the UFC or CDU and input it to the MFCD. Then do the same for spacing.

Place a trigger zone (of any size) where you smoke marker to appear, and then you need to create a trigger to activate at the appropriate time with action set to 'Explode WP Marker'. You can also add a message action to the list so you know when it activates.

Easiest condition to use for this would be to add another trigger zone of 10-20km in radius, and then use a "unit in zone" condition to check if the player's aircraft is getting close to the target site.

Hey Gunner, FYI: you can get this info from the beta manual, and the advantage is that you don't have to wait until someone will answer your post.

Have fun flying the A-10, also have fun learning to fly the A-10!

Appreciate your help guys....

Yeah. i'm gradually working my way through the sections of the manual, however sometimes it's easier to ask as the guys on here tend to be helpful and can save you a lot of time.

I'm happily flying around now ripple dropping bombs and rockets.......working on CCRP mode next and trigger zones...

The A-10 and it's systems are proving to be very interesting.......just time consuming.

Black Shark is pretty good too (if you can ignore the see through buildings when viewing through the Shkval).....

And when their done with this excellent A-10........i hope they model the Hind 24 or Harrier GR7 next !!!!!

Cheers.....

The manual has every thing you need. Leave the dark side luke .. no one will teach you.. this flightgasm comes with much foreplay from manual. Give into the manual.. help me manual.. you are my only hope..

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
