Hi all I needed to reinstall game all the way to beta 3 in a new pc windows 7 64.

 

The problem is that all the control map in simulator are clear and when I select a box and hit default the key appear when I hit ok I cant get out cause a key error and the boxes with stuff appear in red.

 

Do I need to reinstall the game again? Can anyone pass a keymap.lua file, is there a fix for this?

 

Wy so hard to set and save the control dont they should put like just hit save and the hall list get saved?

 

Pls any help will be apritiated.

I'm not entirely sure what the issue you're having is, but I would suggest a clean re-install of the full beta-3 is the best bet to make sure it's all working properly. I removed my old installation (which had successfully patched through to beta 3) and re-installed fresh, and got some new controls listed. So, I think it's best to make sure you do a fully clean install.

 

This does mean re-mapping your controls but, hey, it's a beta - get used to it. :)

 

So -> uninstall the game, then delete the directory after the uninstaller has finished (it'll leave some things behind). If you've made any missions you want to keep, you should move them somewhere else before deleting the directory.

 

Then, install the full beta3. After that's done, run it and check the controls configuration screen is working properly. If not, probably stop there and ask for help again, including a screenshot of the controls screen and any error messages you've received.
