Hammer3246 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Am I missing something here, or can you not change your payload during camps.?? Now for the bug, everytime I eject (which is lots) I get a freeze. I have to alt-tab and kill FC from the task manager. Cheers 13900KF NVD4090 32RAM G2
D17S Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I had a TI4200 for a while and whenever I “escaped” out of a mission, LOMAC would lockup tight. Task Mgr (Ctl-Alt-Del), showed LOMAC not responding. So, as you are having to do, I closed it out in TM, reloaded LOMAC and continued on with the next mission. Not a good solution. I solved it, but it was a big deal. We’re working a similar progam freeze problem over here: http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=8879 I’m really hoping we can come up with something simpler . . .but nothing easy or universal is turning up yet. But there’s several intermediate things before resorting to the thermonuclear option that finally worked for me. What’s that? . . . Come on over.
Hammer3246 Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 Thanks D17S. Any idea about the payload option? 13900KF NVD4090 32RAM G2
D17S Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Not yet. I'm so happy to finally have it running stable that sometimes all I do is jump in my F-15 and valley run. This game has so much depth . . . .well, I don't want to eat my dessert all at once!
KuostA Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 You cannot change or alter payload, difficulty setting, and other things regarding the Mission Editor. The campaign was made for a reason, and you have to fly it strait up with the ordinance given.

Don't get me wrong, FC is great, but I think the user should have a choice of ordinance if nothing else. Maybe this should be addressed in the up and coming patch. 13900KF NVD4090 32RAM G2
KuostA Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Well its the campaign. That means there is a storyline and you are carrying out a mission that is part of a more elaborate scene. For example, you may be a russian terrorist group with a few Mig-29's smuggled in from various owners. One of the themes of the campaign may be the fact that fuel and ammunition is limited. Therefore, you would takeoff with only 50 percent fuel, and 4 R-73 missles. This adds to the challenge of the mission and the sense of immersion. Of course, this is only for campagins, You can edit your payload to whatever your likings in your own missions.

I'm sure lots of people would like to add some varity, since most can't be bothered to script their own. Not trying to argue, just trying to make a point. Cheers 13900KF NVD4090 32RAM G2
