-Ice
Like the title says. I would like to do so to take proper screenies and such for maybe after-action reports. Also, is it possible to "export" a track to video for a YouTube upload for example? Thanks! - Ice
ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted January 29, 2011 ED Team Share Posted January 29, 2011 You can do all those things with ".trk" files, except rewind. Would we (me..!) love a rewind function? Of course! Maybe we will get it at some point later on, who knows. :) To make a video, you can use the in-game .AVI tool, or use FRAPS (like I do) to record your footage. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page

-Ice
Um, GA, how do you fast-forward then? Is it just CTRL+Z? How many levels of fast-forward is available? - Ice
nomdeplume
Um, GA, how do you fast-forward then? Is it just CTRL+Z? How many levels of fast-forward is available? Yes that'll increase the time compression. There's as many levels as your computer can handle. Each press increases it by 1x, up to either 10x or 20x, and then after each press will increase it by 10x. My computer usually craps itself at 30x speed, unless it's very very simple mission. Shift+Z will reset to 1x so if you find you've gone too far, keep mashing that until the system responds. You can also use Alt+Z to reduce time compression in the same steps, and with that you can set it to < 1.0 for slo-mo which can be fun. To add to this anyway to edit a track to change views? I think if you play the track after you exit you can then save another track, which will have the changes to the view you made during that replay.
winchesterdelta1
MY MP tracks won't run at all. Am i doing something wrong. I'm going to replay in DCS world. Choose a track. Double click it, and it starts to load. But i only see a map and free camera. Nothing on the map or any replay at all. After i exit the track with ESC it will crash the game and show me the briefing afterwards. I have the latest update installed. (FC3) Go in close, and when you think you are too close, go in closer. HugePanic
You can install TacView. There you can create recordings of all positions of all units. You can also jump back and forward as you like. For me thats even better than any replay function, since you get so much more information....
