Severum
In DCS: BS, where is that file? I want it to work with Xfire so I can log my time, I found the launcher but I can not find that file, did a search and nothing came up. I am running Win7 64bit. Severum
isn't there. Only DCS and LAUNCHER are in that folder. Xfire asks for a Simulator.exe file. speed-of-heat
you are looking in the wrong folder ka-50\\bin\x86\stable... i have no idea why you have that much stuff in your bin\stable directory...mine is clean SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
Distiler
In 1.02 patch it changed from dcs.exe to simulator.exe, x-fire reflects it. But anyway, x-fire doesen't automatically detect it because the patch also changed the path and xfire has it wrong. After updating to 1.02 patch (don't install 1.01, go from clean to 1.02, and install "as an administrator"), open C:\ProgramData\Xfire\xfire_games.ini and add the "x86" bit into paths: [5774] LongName=DCS: Black Shark ShortName=dcsbs LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Eagle Dynamics\BlackShark\Path LauncherExe=\bin\x86\stable\Launcher.exe DetectExe=\bin\x86\stable\simulator.exe Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS% InGameRenderer=D3D9 InGameFlags=USE_PRESENT|ENABLE_MOUSE|DISABLE_FOR_VISTA Edited February 6, 2011 by Distiler AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision

636_Castle
Don't know...but Xfire appears to have the game paths very, very wrong. unable to find it in ka-50\bin\x86\stable\\bin\stable and ka-50\bin\\\bin\stable\ Take out the redundant paths and extra slashes. It's simply ka-50\bin\x86\stable\ Edited February 8, 2011 by 636_Castle [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] How To Fix Your X-52's Rudder!

I don't know where did you download a xfire_games.ini but don't do it, just open yours and edit it. Distiler
There is always a xfire_games.ini, you're probably looking in C:\Program Files (x86)\Xfire and this is not the folder I've told you. Look in C:\ProgramData\Xfire (it's a hidden folder). Also, this file is updated regularly, so you'll need to edit it each time until Xfire devs fix it.
