I've searched around...

There used to be a .pdf around explaining HSI and IFR nav and I can't seem to find it now.

It got erased before installing a card that could handle this sim...

Patch crashes me on impact of just about every weapon :( so...I thought I might match my wits to something else.

A link or two would be a big help.

Thanks in advance.

This might be of use to someone else as well.

wow! only 88 pages of info. Must have taken someone ages to do that, never mind research it.

As a newcomer to the A10, how would this be applied, can we apply it to the warhog?

I could not tell at present as don't know enough about navigation yet.

Next is to set the correct band. In F4, we have the X band (for ground) and Y band (for air).

Strictly speaking it’s not 100% accurate, but it’s the way it’s supposed to work in F4. To

change the band, simply input “0” (zero) in the scratchpad and press ENTER. That will toggle

the band from Y to X to Y … (see figure above right)

Would be nice to know if this is the standard in DCS too, X band for ground, and Y band for air?
