Crimean Airbases in FC2.0

Tnx Falcon for all your hard work! This should be done by ED long time ago...I know that you had lot of problems with this mod but i'm very glad to hear it is finally over! S!

 

What should have been done long time ago? This addon just swaps airfields. Real solution is having Crimea and East together ;]

However for some missions this addon suits well ^^

Не удается поставить самолета на аэродром Саки. Как только нажимаешь "запуск на стоянке" самолет цепляется за аэродром Гвардейское.

Причем если поставить ботам ППМ рядом с Саками то они на него садятся.

I assumed that the problem here:

but I did not know to determine the true coordinates. :smartass:

Is there any chance of using a host like http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ which has download manager support.

At Filefront I can only get 30kb/s download speed. It would take me about 400 years to download that file and cost me about 500gig worth of download allowance, because every time the connection gets interrupted it has to start all over again from scratch, at 30kb/s...

 

we have some poor ISP in my country. with d/l manager support like at http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ I can download at more like 250kb/s and get resume support if the connection drops out, no wasted allowance.

 

otherwise big files cost me more than the game itself, that part I'm not exaggerating.

 

is there a complete/bug sorted version at the 1st post link? any chance of uploading it to http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/?

Hi Vanir.

 

Only ED can make this mod complete and i hope so it will do that with some of next patches (just like as NEVADA terain - why not one more terain option offer).

 

If you wanna try this version you can download it faster from http://www.dcs-fan.ru/download/filelockon/modslockon/viewdownload/9-mody/353-territorija-kryma-dlja-gs2 - but keep in mind MOD is not completed (mission editor is problem) but in game main things work fine. After install fix the Saki airbase in db_airports.lua:

I hope Andy_Drive will do something better. He ask me for help with sceneedit and 3dMax but i have very very slow PC for that and i can`t continue - i`m stuck here for now. If any ED programer can help us to finish this unofficial public mod pm us. Or if ED have this in "to do list" just tell us please because all will work only if ED finish this.

I have installed Crimean elite for FC2. I have installed manually the patch for this mod too, and i can fly over Crimea but the airfields do not appear in the mission editor. The readme file is in russian and the Google translation in italian is not easy to understand. How can I make crimean airfileds work in mission editor?
