Impact
So does anyone have the Obutto Simgear? If yes, how is it? I already bought it, because my current setup sucks, and I got a bit too much money. http://www.obutto.eu/ ------=:: I FLY BLEIFREI ::=------
BHawthorne
There are a few people I know with the Obutto setup over on the EVGA forums. They use them with triple-head display, racing wheel setups though. In the last 6 months the price has gone up on the Obutto setup. It used to be $350. I think they switched distribution channels and the prices got bumped about $100 higher. I've not heard anything bad about build quality from the people I know have them. No news is good news I guess. Edited April 4, 2011 by BHawthorne

No news is good news I guess. I guess the price went up because they changed the the setup for the displays. Instead of a table, it now uses a mount, which has better stability, and you can change the height without problems. As I am also driving racing simulations, it seems to me perfect. I guess that every game experience improves with that gear. Next thing I have to buy is an upgrade for my computer, but my machine is about 3 years old, so I guess I have to build a complete new one. ------=:: I FLY BLEIFREI ::=------
Cali
A guy in our squad has one and loves it, he only has good things to say about it also. He wrote a review on Combatace.com and I believe at lockonfiles.com. Pictures of his set-up can be seen there also. Rainmaker
As far as US prices go, I know they all went up because the shipping is now included in the price. All in all, I think folks were saying that the actual price increase was only marginal for the new design..maybe $40-$50. The rest of the price increase I guess was due to shipping which was reported to be around $100 US anyway. At least now you have a good estimate before adding it to the cart and getting the WOW factor once they add on the shipping.
