I have different thing. Now, when buildings starts "build" sometimes see strange white square, for 0,1 sec. Like a flash (ATI CCC 11.4). Any confirm this ?

I do now short film too.

tought it was my GPU that was overheating (70 degrees)

I just did a clean reinstall with 11.4 and still the white spots....

I wont roll back to an early version as for all my games it's the only problem.

Maybe someone else who is more willing than me can test with earlier version :music_whistling::D

Did fresh install of 11.3 CCC, everything is ok, but "white flash" I see again. Any idea to solve this problem?

I havent this in 1.1.0.6 and before with too same drivers and too same GPU/CPU.

Did test of temperature of GPU - max it was 61 C. so it isnt artefacts.

I thought about that and maybe it could be a feature simulating light reflections from structures ?

 

I am not sure but i think it happens more over building areas.

 

Just a hypothesis :)

 

I also think that i had this phenomena since the Beta.

Too same, only over buildings. No this on beta 3 and before Today patch 1.1.0.7

Pretty please to fix this issue (1.1.0.7a?). This is not good, especially if You fly in the evening.

I think it isnt reflections - in the night we can see to same (this strange flashes).

On too same drivers and config before 1.1.0.7 havent this, so reason for me its a issue of new patch od DCS A10

It looks weird even if it's a feature. I had it in 1.1.0.6 and actually looked like a reflection, but now in 1.1.0.7 got white boxes, exactly like the posted video. Haven't had the opportunity to test it with older drivers.

I have it too. Using the 11.4 Catalyst drivers.

I agree it only seems to do it in the area of buildings. Gonna try it without HDR.

 

Well that was pretty quick to find a cure.

It goes away without HDR selected on my setup for sure.

Try it guys to confirm.

XFX 5770 1gb, Catalyst 11.4 x64 March 23rd drivers, and i don't see any texture problems like what you guys have above.

 

One common factor that binds you guys together though: you're all mostly running 6xxx series cards....

 

edit: just something for you guys to try, go into your CCC and do the following:

 

put Catalyst AI on High Quality (this effectively disables all optimisations within the driver) and untick "enable surface format optimisations" and see if it makes any difference.

I'll try to untick "enable surface format optimisations" and I'll report back

 

EDIT: It aint working. Seems that it works with HDR off

Hmm, ok, a little bit of sun is still left at your time of the day ;)

 

Strange thing in your video at about 2:00. Your start looking to the right at about 1:58 and at 2:00 you barely can see that "flash" again, pretty in the middle of the view. But this time it is greenish like it is rendered "before" the NVG !

 

Hmm. I don't have any clues.

 

I try the CCC settings from above.

 

Stay tuned.

ok, i already have exactly the setting from above. So that doesn't resolve anything. I hope it isn't an issue with the 6xxx cards, as i recently bought the 6950 to have more fun with DCS A10 :)

Agreed. I like the newer version of HDR (no where near as "overdone" as the origional) but all I was suggesting is for one click of your menu, you could confirm with me that it is related to HDR.

You can always put it back on later. LOL

Yep. I did quick test with HDR OFF. Right, no this white square but as I said = it isnt solution. I need HDR. Concusion = this "new" bug cames from new HDR effect perhaps.
