lobo
Need some ground cues to wind speed/direction IMO. :music_whistling: That was a cool movie though. :P Well I did have a nice wind speed direction cue from all the smoke billowing from the wreckage of an earlier A-10... clipped the tower with wingtip... ;) It would be nice to see the dirt and dust blowing across the ramp along with the trees and bushes bent over. Windsocks would also be nice close to runway! lobo
NICE lobo :megalol: What was the indicated speed on HUD when you hovered? What speed can you get flying the wind direction? Thanks! The HUD IAS in the hover was showing between 107-115. The IAS going with the wind on the high speed tower buzz job was 405. I think G/S was 495. ErichVon
:) 500 knots downwind! LOL Wonder what would happen to it at speed of sound? Would the wings suffer structural damage? Or just typically lockup the ailerons, elevator and rudders, or cause an engine stall? Erich :pilotfly:
David A Sell
When did they add VTOL to he hawg?? Need some ground cues to wind speed/direction IMO. :music_whistling: Im pretty sure the white smoke from various smokestacks was billowing low and hard in wind direction at the end of the movie (on short field landing) Home-Built Rig - | ASUS TUF Z390-Plus| i9 9900k | 2080ti | 32g G.SKILL TridentZ |Samsung 970 evos | Tagan 1100w PS | Warthog Hotas | Track ir 5 | Saitek Pedals | PFT Collective
