TigersharkBAS Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) We know how it is. You are a fan of flight sims and A-10 has a steep learning curve. You also would love to fly Multiplayer but you are concerned that your lack of knowledge may be embarassing to you and you probably don't have the time to invest in a fulltime "virtual squadron". Folk could be the answer to your prayers. We are a small group of guys who were formed around the concept of "low friction gaming". Low friction meaning that we know people are busy and don't have the time to dedicate significant amounts of time to maintaining membership. We were formed around Armed Assault but now we are want to build up a player base of A-10 pilots who are looking to fly with others to learn, fly missions and just have fun really. Does this dilute the "sim" experience? We think no. We are not "milsim" but do want to give A-10 the respect it deserves as a study sim of the A-10. But we won't oblige you to go through a candidate program or learn basics before you can fly with us. We just want you on board (when you can) so we can all have a fun MP experience (including teaching each other stuff). We are trying to organise a couple of nights a week for MP games. Times aren't fixed yet but we can discuss some when people join up. So if you are Euro based (or close enough in time zones that it's not a problem playing nights european time) then visit us and sign up. If you want to fly with others but perhaps don't want to invest the time required to join proper "virtual squadrons" we could be what you are looking for. We are trying to organise a couple of nights a week for MP games. and be sure to check us out at http://www.ferstaberinde.com/folk/invite/ (click through the green dots) Edited May 6, 2011 by TigersharkBAS [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Creator of: F-18C VFA-195 "Dambusters" 1998 CAG Livery https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213788 F-18C VFA-195 "Dambusters" July 2001 CAG Livery https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=215950 Pilot avatars for DCS Logbook https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221160 How to make a DCS A-10C Panel http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65998

TigersharkBAS Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 Cool guys. @Mower...don't feel like we are excluding North America. We have several guys who are casually playing us in your time zones. We just need more euro based peep. But if have the time to play with us during euro nights you are more than welcome also. One of our members is Headspace for example (maker of TARS) who is based in the US. It's not really my initiative...we have been around for a while. But we are making a concerted push for more A-10 pilots to have fun with.
