Using Virtual monitor with Ipadpit to hide MFD's!!

Recommended Posts

Forum member Alphatoomega had a great find how to get a Virtual monitor.

With this virtual monitor you get a second monitor available that is hidden but can be used for the IPad solutions to park the static MFD's that are needed to get them live on the Ipad.

I checked it out with my Ipadpit and it's working great! No more static MFD's blocking my view in the ipadpit.

I made an instruction for the IPadpit how to set it up. (might work for the Icontrol users also)

You can find it at the document download section of my site: www.ipadpit.nl

Please check it out en let me know if it works for you !

No sure. I can click apply and the settings are accepted. Installed it on my gtx460 card and on my laptop without a problem. I did install the vnc server app also but don't use it and don't expect you need it. But you can give it a try by just installing it.. Maybe it adds something.

Does using the "virtual monitor" method screw up the User Interface screens for Multiplayer?

I've managed to get the virtual monitor to work with iControl rather than use another real monitor. but I still can't get it to work with PeterP's superb HDR dynamic mod. I can get it to work with iControl switched off though it's a downer having only one or the other. Anyone found a workaround? Ta
