I've seen heaters intercept incoming missiles before . . . . and splash damage from the warhead seems to be modelled reasonably well . . . . . Still kind of cool. I remember I was playing Flanker 2.5 online once and took a BVR shot with an R27ET (back in the days when you could still do that) - but ED had obviously modelled the lack of datalink . . . . . and very shortly afterwards there was a very large explosion just to my left in front of me as Megile (my wingie at the time) got blown out of the sky :p Nearest heat source was always a big attraction to them ;) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Almost immediately after I fired my weapon I was hit by a SAM but my missile recorded the kill.
