ScorpionFalcon Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Do all missions tell you "mission complete" if you completed your objectives? Specifically, the mission Defend Camp Yankee. JTAC told me to RTB and having landed, I did not get anything indicating that I had finished the mission.
Jinja Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I maybe wrong, but: JTAC is not 'mission-aware'. He's merely telling you that HE has no more targets for you. i7@3.5Ghz, ATI 5870, 16GB RAM, win7 64bit, TH2GO, Track-IR, 4screen pit, TM WArthog HOTAS
zamboni Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I'm pretty sure it is up to the mission writer. JTAC may not have any targets for you, but he usually only deals with armor/vehicle threats. If your mission has you to take out a bridge for instance, JTAC can't help ya out there. Some missions have a score based on 100, you can bring up the debrief screen with the ' key and it may have your score there. But it is all up to the mission designer if you end up getting a message saying "mission complete" or not.
EbonySeraphim Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I think your problem exists in all of the sims ED has made -- when you're done, you're done. You can quit out as soon as the JTAC says "RTB" or you know you have completed the mission otherwise. There's no clear confirmation by auto-booting you after landing, or while you're still in the air or anything. I still need to get over it and just pat myself on the back after a long mission.
