Music Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Hello all, How come the performance of Flaming Cliffs 2 (on my PC) is way below that of Black Shark or A-10C Warthog? I've set all the graphical details to 'high', and changing the settings to 'low' or 'medium' (and switching the mirrors off) doesn't make FC2 run more smooth. Different drivers don't do the trick either. Setting processor affinity in autoexec.cfg only makes things worse (it's always worth a try). The framerate - when flying close to the ground - is about 25-30 FPS. When I'm flying higher the FPS go way up. Black Shark is showing a constant 30-40 FPS in flight, and A-10C is up in the 50's. It's the same engine, right?
