Silly question...maybe?

I bought the game last night from the site and it says version 1.1.0.8 on the site yet when game starts it is missing the .8, just reads 1.1.0. Did I actually get the lastest version or do I need to download the latest patch?

Splash screen only shows first three. Installers available through digitalcombatsimulator.com and Steam are 1.1.0.8.

 

You can verify through opening the mission editor, click Misc at the top right, select Credits, and find exact version number there.

I've lost count of how many times this (very reasonable) question has been asked. Can't we just have the full version number displayed on the loading screen rather than buried in it's currently obscure place?

Or have it in the main UI menu screen. Should be easy enough to do.

I know what you mean. This is probably one of those small things that got overlooked when ED switched to more frequent but smaller patches - previously the "first three" would be the only digits actually used.
