FSX to Lockon

I have had questions from modders who have created FSX add-ons to the effect:-

Does anyone know how to convert FSX models to lockon or 3ds max?

So an answer to this question would be useful.

it is not possible. only if you contact the author, if he wants, he can give the .max file or he can convert it himself from .max to .lom, step by step, as we do with all the mods, traditionally, so no special tool, there is no compatibility

Simulatori: DCS A-10C II Warthog - DCS F/A-18C Hornet - DCS F-16C - VRS F/A-18E -
HOTAS: TM Warthog - Cougar \ HP Reverb G2 \ WinWing Panels

Tally: I see the degenerate commie who wants to ruin our day.

That's not true. There are converters that will at least get you the mesh and texture mapping intact. Jim, shoot me a PM if you're interested, I'd rather not discuss it publicly on the boards. :)

Yes, it's possible.

I know some really talented persons (they made own models too) who did these FSX-DCS/FC conversions. They are able to convert plenty of 3D extensions to LOM/EDM (or more). The hardest part is converting/sharpening animations as i heard.

But yes, conversions are legal only with permission of authors.
