Dangermouseb51
Help with new toy... Just bought DCS A10C hooked again been along time since Falcon 4 .. I also stumped up the dosh for a HOTAS Warthog .... All going well except the pinky button on my throttles seems very lose ie no clicks between positions... Can someone confirm if this is the norm or am I going to have to return already... The mods and new skin files you can download through dcs us there a guide how to install, much appreciated ... Ps is it worth the money or a trackir 5 as using hat switch to move around is doing my nut ,... Jim Dangermouse [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Dejjvid
It's not as distinct as the other metal switches. It's designed to be moved by your pinkie finger. Yea, TIR is a must have. Don't hesitate, buy it! i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
Dangermouseb51
Yeah I understand it's supposed to be pinky friendly but it honestly feels like it's flopping around ... What is it mapped to .. Sorry for ignorance still working my way through the sim ... Jim Dangermouse [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Quig
I can only talk on my own TMWH, but it's a distinct clicking sound when switching between the three modes (I assume we're talking about the 3-stage metal switch on the left hand throttle?). It's definately looser than the other switches, but still clearly clicking and no flopping, will only move if pushed. It's default mapping is for controlling lights, back is "set as lightspanel", middle is all lights off, and forward is.. I'm not certain, some kind of default light setup I reckon. ericleroi
Mine is noticeably looser than the other switches with a lot of play i.e. floppy It does provide a reasonably reassuring click though. TrackIR is worth the investment. andyfoot
My Pinky switch is also very light to the touch, I was wondering if mine was defective or not, seems it's a built in feature.

Nu-NRG
The pinky switch on my new TM WH is like all the other switches. A tad lighter to move but definitely NOT wobbly like the old one was. Aviate - Navigate - Communicate
Succellus
Mine is a bit more easy but i got the 3 clicks ok. Tir is worth the buy especially with track ir pro. FreeFall
The pinky switch on my new TM WH is like all the other switches. A tad lighter to move but definitely NOT wobbly like the old one was. My Throttle Pinky is wayyy more lighter to operate than any other switch! Just compare it with for example Autopilot Switch! Throttle pinky is not like any other switch at all. Not even close! :imho: So, it is very normal. Although I can feel/distinguish the different positions easily. It's not that loose. tjhowse
I concur with the other posters in this thread. Each of the three positions has about 2-3mm wiggle at tip, and the force required to move it from one position to another is much less than the other switches, but there's little chance of my accidently switching it.
